Gathering №1Hosted discussion
Kickoff
A hosted discussion with a few folks at the leading edge of technology, with an eye on healthcare.
What we're exploring
Madison is full of people working on interesting things across healthcare and technology, and most of them never end up in the same room. This is the first time we're putting them there.
A few folks at the leading edge of technology will host the conversation, with an eye on healthcare. The angle is simple: what's the most eye-opening thing you're working on right now, personally or professionally?
It doesn't have to be AI. We're probably going to talk about AI a lot. Come to share something, or come to listen and ask questions. Both are exactly right.
What to expect
- A hosted conversation about the most eye-opening work people are doing right now
- Real examples from inside healthcare and well beyond it
- Plenty of AI, though not only AI
- An open floor where anyone can share, ask, or push back
- Time to meet other people working across healthcare and technology

Who is it for?
Anyone curious about making healthcare better through technology, research, operations, or new ideas. You don't need a particular job title or a technical background.
Do I need experience with AI?
No. Some gatherings explore AI, but you don't need to be an expert to take part. Different perspectives are the point.
Will I need to present something?
Not at all. Some people like sharing projects. Others prefer to listen, ask questions, and join the discussion. Both are welcome.
What happens at a gathering?
It varies. Expect a mix of good conversation, practical learning, small-group discussion, demonstrations, or a collaborative exercise, plus time to simply meet people.
Are gatherings always about AI?
No. Our interests span healthcare, technology, biotechnology, research, operations, and innovation. AI is one thread among many.
How do I attend?

How often do you meet?
We're starting with our first gathering and will plan more based on how the community responds.
